• Accounts.  Setting up an account is as easy as picking up the phone.  In most cases we only require a purchase order or an initial deposit.
   
• Request forms.  Although rush requests can be accepted over the phone, it's usually better to send your search question by email.  At the time your account is set up, we will send you a request form that helps make sure we understand all your requirements:  subject and context, deadlines, cost limits, etc.
   
• Confidentiality.  As a matter of professional ethics, Adhoc Information will hold all aspects of your search or consulting project in strict confidence.  Many clients, however, prefer to have us work under a more specific non-disclosure agreement.  We can either provide such an agreement or work with your own organization's standard confidentiality agreement.

• Pricing.  Our usual rate for online or manual searching is $90 per hour -- plus out-of-pocket expenses, such as for mailing or copying.  Discounts are available for larger projects.  Online costs are passed along with no mark-up.  Fees for consulting or training are negotiated on a project-by-project basis.
   
• Results.  We can send your search results or other project deliverables either by email (e.g., as an MS Word or PDF file) or by overnight courier.  We can also help you obtain any patents or references from the search results.
